Enjoying Zihuatanejo

Well despite the fact that we've had to sort through some sudden life changes, and we are still trying to figure a lot of that out, we've been enjoying ourselves here in Zihua. It's a tiny beach town, that's a little bit touristy, but mostly just quiet.  You can pretty much walk around the entire city in a day.

So the beach and bay area are surrounded by hills that are occupied by the locals, so at night the entire country side is lit up a like a Christmas tree! New Years eve was pretty low key, we went out for a seafood dinner, and then watched Friends on Mexican TV until midnight.  It was nice but it makes me feel old.

The highlight for the trip for us so far, though was definitely the scuba diving.  We went for 2 days, and although the conditions are only so-so here, we were able to see some really unique things that we had never seen before, so that was pretty cool. I also got to try out my new GoPro camera underwater! Check out the video below for some of the highlights...

Hope you all are having a good Christmas and New Years!  We are headed back to Korea in about 5 days, so we will probably get some solid pool/beach time in the next few days.

thanks for the prayers and keep it real!
